DataBroker resides inside of SAP, which brings many benefits:
- Produces standard SAP reports. Reports made with DataBroker are standard SAP reports that can be added to the report tree for all users to access.

Latest Features
In the newest version of Data Broker, users can now create reports using all of the information within each pay period's result as a single holistic dataset. For example, as well as being able to report on pay check values such as hours, rate or amount, users can now report on the allocations of those values across organizational units, cost centers, tax authorities, etc. These capabilities are game changing because they instantly make available reports for financial cost allocations and analysis, tax reporting and organization or managerial budgeting tracking. In addition, the newest version of Data Broker also includes reporting on an employee's organizational management and person development Infotypes. This allows HR users to create reports such as job and position match ups with an employee's HR data or report on the employee's qualifications and skills.New reports

SAP Product Overview:
- Data Broker product is developed using SAP ABAP and deployed in the customers exist SAP HR environment
- No Customer ABAP development effort required to implement Data Broker
- No Customer ABAP development effort required to create Data Broker reports
- All development objects (ABAP reports and screens, tables, security roles, etc) are delivered via SAP transports
- Reports can be given an SAP Transaction code and added the User’s SAP Easy Access menu Favorites
- No code modifications or copies of SAP objects required to implement
- User ability to run reports for employee and employee data is defined by your current SAP security authorizations
- Access to employee is restricted using the standard SAP authority checks of the PNP logical database report
- Access to each infotype is restricted using the standard SAP function module HR_CHECK_AUTHORITY_INFTY
- Reports data is displayed as SAP ALV grid allowing the full capabilities for sorting, filtering, summing and download to excel or other file formats
