Dear {FIRST_NAME|Valued Customer}:
CupOJoe
Do not adjust your screen. We control the vertical. We control the horizontal.

I always loved the Outer Limits. It was different from everything else on television at that time. The characters were unique and storylines were well thought out. Small companies are much the same way. We might not get the exposure that the big network affiliated shows do, but we have the creative freedom to write a script that reflects our culture and goals. This brings me to the new look of this newsletter. I love coming to the office and being with people that truly enjoy their work, but don’t take themselves too seriously. We are a fun and creative group and our message to you should reflect that attitude.

I look forward to your feedback on our new look.
I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.

BNSF Railway Teams with AspireHR for SAP E-Recruiting
BNSFKnock, knock. Who’s there? BNSF. BNSF who? AspireHR’s latest E-Recruiting success, that’s who!

OK, so it isn’t so much funny as it is fantastic. Like proud parents, we are so proud to announce our successful implementation of SAP E-Recruiting for BNSF Railways. By enhancing their current processes and enabling their large scale hiring capabilities, the overall efficiency of the system increased, and the experience for both applicant and recruiter improved.

Web I-9 – Your favorite teacher’s assistant
OK class. Raise your hand if you like re-work and paying criminal and civil fines? ...Bueller? Bueller? Yeah, we thought not.

No one is actually excited about having to go back through employee records to verify & audit information, especially when you aren’t sure if Mr. Smith in the Anchorage office has the files or if Mrs. Jones has them in Skaneateles. Wouldn’t it be nice if a bunch of very clever people designed a piece of software that would put all of your employee records in one convenient place inside a system you already own so that when (let’s face it, it is when, not if) you are audited, all the employee records you need are right there at your fingertips? And, even better, that these wonderful folks can help you be assured that the information these files contain is, dare we say it, correct and compliant with federal regulations?

Web I9Well step to the front of the class! We have developed a new, out-of-the-box automated software solution that not only runs in your existing SAP environment, thereby eliminating that pesky worry of data security, but supports 100% Form I-9 compliance through real time data entry validation.

So think of this program like that sassy minx of a teacher’s assistant from scary Mrs. Jamison’s fourth grade class. She helped to collect all the test papers, double checked your work, stood up for you to Mrs. Jamison, was always in the classroom when you needed her, and came in one pretty package.

Winnie Chu Named VIP Woman of the Year by NAPW
Faster than a speeding bullet. More powerful than a locomotive. Able to leap tallish buildings in a single bound. Look! Up in the sky! It’s a bird. It’s a plane. It’s Super Winnie! Yes, it’s Super Winnie, Winnie Chustrange visitor from Canada who came to the US with powers and abilities far beyond those of other mortals, eh. Super Winnie – who can change the course of a mighty bad project, bend steel determination with her bare hands, and who, disguised as Winnie Chu, mild-mannered Partner for a great metropolitan SAP HCM implementation company, fights the never-ending battle for Truth, Justice and the AspireHR way.

OK, OK. She may not be the Superman, but she is our super hero and we are darn proud of her. Well done Winnie!

The Channel Unplugged
AspireHR’s Got Talent... It just isn’t singing!

Baseball GameIn an effort to fend off the crazies and enjoy ourselves, the AspireHR family decided against going to an isolated and possibly haunted hotel in the mountains of Colorado and went instead to Dr. Pepper Park to cheer on the Frisco Rough Riders.  The turnout for the game was great, proving once again that not even triple-digit temperatures keep a Texan from having a good time.  To see photos from the game, click the link below.

Take me out to the ball gameIn anticipation of the game, we at the Plano office had our own unique version of the seventh-inning stretch.  After all, there’s nothing like a rousing chorus of "Take Me Out to the Ballgame" Aspire-style to get people in the mood for a bit of baseball.  We invite you to listen and hear why we have decided that SAP HCM is probably a better calling for us than professional entertainment!

(AspireHR and The Channel are not responsible for ensuring hilarity, hysterical deafness, partial hearing loss, shattering your Aunt Ethel’s favorite crystal vase, or any psychological side-effects suffered during or after listening to the aforementioned aural singularity.)

Bluebeary Initiative
You know all those commercials where cutely-creepy garden statuary goes on adventures and gives quirkily apropos, yet completely obvious advice? Well ours is nothing like him. Ours is a bear! We’ve decided to create our own mascot traveler – Bluebeary.

We’ve already sent hundreds of Bluebearys to Aspire employees and friends all over the globe. Your mission Mr. Phelps, should you choose to accept it, Bluebearyis to take this poly-filled Bear Grylls and photograph him in various stages of mis-adventure. At the end of the summer, the photos will be judged by our highly prestigious panel of randomly chosen employees who will then award fantastic prizes, should they not abscond into the night with said fantastic prizes themselves.

But what are the categories you ask? Good question.

  • New Name.
Frankly, naming a blue bear Bluebeary is a cop out and we need a better name and so have made it the first category. After all, never do today what you can assign someone else to do tomorrow.
  • Most creative location.
This can be anywhere from the Great Wall of China to the Great Wall of Chinese Buffet. Seriously though, a creative mind will win you big points here.
  • Celebrities.
Who doesn’t want their photo taken with a bright blue teddy with a do-or-die attitude? If you get a photo of The Most Interesting Bear in the World with The Most Interesting Man in the World, extra credit.
  • Funniest.
Open to interpretation but keep it PG-13; this is a family show after all folks.
  • Best caption.
    ’Nuff said.
What about me? What about the non-Aspire employee? I want to play too!

No worries oh non-employee! CLICK HERE to request your own Bluebeary and play along from home by submitting photos. Just remember you cheaters – NO PHOTOSHOP!

Best of luck to you in your Bluebeary wanderings. May the most creative win!
