Mohawk Industries Offers Mobile Open Enrollment for 19,000 Employees with AspireHR Cloud Benefits
AspireHR – Right People, Right Results – today announced that Mohawk Industries will offer a mobile open enrollment experience for 19,000 U.S. and Canada-based employees using AspireHR Cloud Benefits to complement its SAP® ERP Human Capital Management (SAP ERP HCM) solution for benefits administration. Mohawk Industries aims to empower its employees to enroll from their preferred device.

Mohawk has deployed a hybrid model with both cloud-based SAP SuccessFactors® solutions and on-premise SAP ERP HCM with payroll and benefits administration functionality. With the goal to improve labor and system efficiencies through simplification and automation, Mohawk chose to implement SAP SuccessFactors HCM Suite, Concur® and payroll solutions. By replacing multiple legacy HR systems with a single, integrated SAP solution, Mohawk was able to streamline its processes, minimize custom integrations and generate significant annual cost savings.
For benefits administration, Mohawk evaluated many options and decided on the benefits administration functionality in SAP ERP HCM because it is fully integrated with the payroll component and is able to handle the company’s complex benefits requirements. In order to promote an exciting employee self-service experience, Mohawk chose AspireHR’s Cloud Benefits to meet these requirements:
- A seamless company-branded user experience within SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central with real-time updates to the benefits administration component of SAP ERP HCM
- An improved employee self-service experience, compared with the legacy HR solution, that allows employees to enroll for benefits from their mobile devices
- A fast implementation with minimal disruption and minimal Mohawk resources.
Regarding the user experience, said Dirk De Maesschalck, senior director of Global HRIS and PMO at Mohawk, “Our legacy HR system did offer an online benefits enrollment experience, but we hadn’t achieved the level of employee self-service that we expected. With AspireHR’s Cloud Benefits, we’re looking to increase self-service enrollment transactions and decrease manual calls to our Benefits Service Center. The mobile experience is key because that’s the most common device our hourly workforce has available. That was something missing from the legacy solution. In addition, Cloud Benefits allows us to embed our benefit programs materials, including videos, right in the enrollment process. That’s allowing us to go live with minimal training for employees.”
AspireHR implemented Cloud Benefits in 12 weeks, matching Mohawk’s desire for an aggressive timeline. The fact that Cloud Benefits extends Mohawk’s existing configuration of SAP ERP HCM supporting benefits administration without any disruption was an important decision factor in Mohawk choosing it over other alternatives.
