The largest domestic airline in the US, operating 3,300+ flights a day with 500 aircraft. Based in Dallas, Texas, Southwest serves 70 cities in 35 states. It is publically traded on the NYSE and is a member of the Fortune 500.

Objective

Southwest needed increased data accuracy, employee empowerment, and a streamlined flow of information.

Project

AspireHR partnered with Southwest to assist with their Enhancement Pack 4 upgrade, ESS leadership. Now live, Southwest uses a variety of SAP modules including Organizational Management, Personnel Administration, Benefits and Payroll. In addition to AspireHR’s expertise in SAP HCM, AspireHR was chosen for how its unique corporate culture integrated with Southwest’s own style.

Following ESS Go-Live, Southwest has shifted focus to MSS. The MSS with guided procedures implementation will include HCM Processes and Forms with automated PA action processing for new and re-hires, Organization and Position Maintenance Requests, Talent Management for Enhancement Pack 4, Compensation Management, and Reporting. Results

Completed ESS has allowed employees to access their data and enrollment via the NetWeaver portal. ESS with guided procedures has helped employees step through life events. SAP MSS will reduce the number of organizational structures that managers must maintain to one.
