The UN needed to address production and process issues in SAP HCM implementation.


  • Streamline, troubleshoot and correct SAP design/ configuration related to Staff Budgeting:
    • Processes around how Direct Support Costs positions are planned and how they are created
    • Manage total project staff funding allocated in funds management along with actual expenditures
    • Enhance staff budgeting functionality while maintaining DSC funding flexibility, funding for staffing, will be “pushed down” to a subordinate staff costs level
    • Allow for more than one project to fund a percentage of a position during a given period of time
    • Custom report to determine the positions running out of funds and the savings from vacancies
    • Payroll processing and posting to SAP modules depending on the cost assignment data
    • Integration of HCM with Project Systems, Fund Management, Payroll, Finance and Controlling
