AspireHR Celebrates Successful Internal Go-Live of SAP HCM Enhancement Package 5

Plano, TX (September 29, 2011) – AspireHR expands its knowledge base with the successful Go-Live of SAP HCM enhancement package 5 (EhP5) on its own internal systems.

 

In January, AspireHR accepted the invitation to participate in the Ramp-Up Program for enhancement package 5 for SAP Business Suite 7. AspireHR was also a previous participant in the Ramp-Up programs for enhancement package 3 and 4. These continued invitations reflect our history of being a trusted SAP services partner and go-to human capital management (HCM) system integrator in support of SAP implementations.

 

We eagerly began our internal EhP5 implementation in December 2010. Our ramp-up access to EhP5 provided specialized training on the new release, expedited support, risk abatement procedures, and a direct channel into SAP Development allowed. This supported the high value AspireHR places on being innovators in the SAP HCM marketplace and the trust our clients place in our experience-validated advice.

 

Brian Collett, Managing Partner at AspireHR, has said that “it was very satisfying and was another proud moment for us when we were one of the few SAP Partners selected to participate in the Ramp Up Program. We are very excited about the new functionality delivered in EhP5 – in particular the new Employee and Manager Self Services, which were redesigned and redeployed in WebDynpro for ABAP technology. This has two key benefits for clients. First, the update on usability was redesigned for today’s more technology-literate workforce. Second, the ESS and MSS functionality was decoupled from the SAP Portal. ESS and MSS now have the ability to deploy from alternate Portals such as Microsoft SharePoint. This opens new doors to fulfilling clients’ SAP HR roadmaps for the acquisition and effective onboarding of employee talent.”

 

AspireHR’s internal upgrade to EhP5 also benefits clients looking to implement functionality in enhancement package 4. Even though the client is not moving to the latest enhancement package, they will be armed with knowledge on the newest functionality available, supporting design decisions that anticipate and prepare for future upgrades. This is an important piece of AspireHR’s risk mitigation strategy for upgrades and allows clients to be able to move forward with confidence that today’s implementation decision will not impact their future roadmap strategy.

Our consulting teams have had months of hands-on experience with EhP5, assessing its value to customers, determining best deployment methods, and allowing us to better advise our clients on upgrade strategies. We were also able to speed up the process of adapting and testing our products for deployment on EhP5,” noted Collett.
