Product Overview

  • Tax Reporting is developed using SAP ABAP and is deployed in the Customer’s existing SAP environment
  • No Customer ABAP development effort required to implement Tax Reporting
  • No Customer ABAP development effort required to create reports in Tax Reporting
  • No code modifications or copies of SAP objects required to implement
  • All Tax Reporting components (ABAP reports and screens, tables, security roles, etc) are delivered via SAP transports
  • Reports can be attached to an SAP Transaction code and added the User’s SAP Easy Access menu favorites
  • Tax Reporting is delivered with pre-defined SAP security roles for access to report building and report execution authorization
  • User ability to run reports on employee and access employee data is defined by your current SAP security authorizations
  • Access to employee is restricted using the standard SAP authority checks of the PNP logical database report
  • Access to each Infotype is restricted using the standard SAP function module HR_CHECK_AUTHORITY_INFTY
  • Reports data is displayed as SAP ALV grid allowing the full capabilities for sorting, filtering, summing and download to excel or other file formats
  • Tax Reporting works in Unicode and non-Unicode environments and can generate ASCII and UFT-8 text files
  • Files can be output to user’s desktop, network directory, SAP Application Server or (S)FTP location
  • SAP Developer can add customer specific field and record logic into Tax Reporting usingTax Reporting Functions.

Implementation time

  • Getting started with Tax Reporting takes less than one day to install and verify the SAP transports in your SAP environment. Completion of a short introductory training course, Human Resource experts will be ready to start using the delivered reports and building their own new reports. SME courses will allow Tax Reporting Users to meet complex reporting and interface needs.
